Eileen Weiss announces her retirement


2013-04-12 EileenEileen Hession Weiss became the LUM business manager four years ago this June. Prior to her work as business manager, she was a LUM project manager for 21 months in 2000-01. From 1996-2009, Eileen was the comptroller and controller for three separate auto groups. One of the highlights of her career was when she was elected to serve as the City Clerk for the City of Lafayette from 1984-1995. Eileen has decided to retired from full-time employment to move to Elk Grove Village, Illinois, which is much closer to her grandchildren — Campbell Rose, Max, and Nicole. After her retirement, Eileen will continue to work part-time with LUM on various business projects. Eileen is a parishioner of The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception and has sung in their choir since 1964.  She was their Director of Music from 1983 to 2001.

  • Wednesday, June 26
  • 4 – 6 p.m.; 5 p.m. Brief Program
  • Bishop’s Hall at Cathedral of St. Mary, 1207 Columbia St., Lafayette
